Farooq Rana (24 May1985) of Jayton Avenue, Manchester was yesterday (3 October 2022) charged with rape and false imprisonment.
At around 2:30am on Saturday 1 October 2022, police received a report that a female had been raped on 1 October 2022, on Ashton New Road in Manchester.
Rana has since been remanded in custody until his next appearance at Manchester Crown Court on 7 November 2022.
