A man has been charged after a teenage boy was stabbed in the leg in Salford

A man has been charged after police officers were spat at and racially abused in Manchester City Centre

Christopher Davies (25/08/1990), of Bartholomews Drive, Salford, has been charged with one count of: section 18 assault; possession of an offensive weapon in a public place; possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 26 June 2020).

Police were called at around 11.55am on Wednesday 24 June 2020 to reports of a teenage boy being stabbed in the leg on Rudman Drive in Salford.

The boy sustained a serious leg wound but has since been discharged from hospital.
