A man has been charged following two collisions in Bolton – one of which was fatal

Detectives investigating the murder of a 17-year-old boy in South Manchester have charged a third person

A man has been charged following two collisions in Bolton – one of which was fatal.

Craig Mossop (14/02/1969) of Carrington Road, Bolton has been charged with:-

Causing death by dangerous driving.

Causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Drive a motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed limit.

Drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence.

Using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.

He has been remanded to appear at Wigan Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 25 August 2020.

At around 4pm on Sunday 23 August 2020 a blue Land Rover TD4 was traveling along Chorley Street when it collided with a woman aged 50, who sadly died at the scene.

The vehicle failed to stop and collided with a man aged 36 on Chorley New Road. He remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
