A 14-year-old boy from Longsight, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with section 18 assault, violent disorder and possession of a bladed article.
He has been remanded and will appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Friday 29 May 2020.
At around 6:15pm on Monday 25 May 2020, police were called to reports of a disturbance on Meldon Road, Manchester.
Enquiries have established that there was a fight between a group of people.
