The spectacular and captivating illuminated trails will be at Walton Hall and Gardens from Friday 24 November and Friday 24 December 2021.
Wrap up warm and join Luminate as they weave a captivating light trail through the stunning grounds.
Brought to you by Luminate, Walton Gardens will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland that will fascinate and be enjoyed by everyone, young and old alike.
Explore Walton Gardens like never before in complete darkness and guided by festoon lighting, and then finish the evening by warming up next to the fire pit and toasting marshmallows.
Set to ambient music, you will follow the trail as it meanders through Walton Gardens. Stunning lighting elements and light play will guide you along the way, punctuated by lots of highlights.
The trail will start through the courtyard in front of the riding stables and follow a clearly defined route through the Gardens.
The family-friendly winter light shows will also delight little ones as some parts of the trail also include interactive lighting installations, where they can enjoy the light play.
The trail is approximately 1.4km long and the enthralling walking experience typically takes families around 60-90 minutes to complete (depending on how quickly you walk through).
Cllr Tony Higgins, Warrington Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Community, said: “Walton Hall and Gardens is a special place to visit day to day, so I’m delighted to see it be transformed into an amazing Winter Wonderland experience in the run up to the holidays.
“This enchanting trail is also the perfect event to enjoy in the run up to Christmas, with its festive feel and interesting activity like no other that will entertain the whole family.”
