Appeal for witnesses after shots fired in Toxteth

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man fell from a building in Toxteth this morning, Saturday 17 April.

At around 9.30am, emergency services were called to Falkner Square to reports of a man in his 40s having fallen from a building.

He has been taken to hospital and his condition is described as critical but stable.

Forensic and witness enquiries are being carried out, and police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident.

Detective Chief Inspector Simon Hurst said: “We are working to establish the exact circumstances of this incident and I would appeal directly to anyone who was in the area and has information, CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch as soon as possible.”
