Appeal on collision involving pedestrian and motorbike in Heswall

Suspected stolen vehicle recovered following pursuit in Liverpool

We are appealing for information following a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a motorbike in Heswall today, Friday 2 June.

Just after 6am we received a report of a collision on Telegraph Road, close the to the entrance of Caldy Rugby Club, involving a female pedestrian and a motorbike.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment. The male rider suffered minor injuries in the collision and is receiving medical treatment.

Officers are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Sergeant Simon Duffy said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision so we can establish the details as a matter of urgency.

“If you witnessed this collision, or were passing and may have captured any dashcam footage to please get in touch with us.”
