Appeal to locate good samaritans following incident in Warrington

Two people charged in connection with Cheshire burglary series

Police are appealing to the public to help identify two good samaritans who helped a man following an incident in Warrington.

At around 11.30am on Monday 19 April a 58-year-old man was riding along Huntley Street when he fell off his mobility scooter.

A dark coloured Mercedes Sprinter van was passing at the time of the incident and the two occupants got out of the vehicle and assisted the man until paramedics arrived at the scene.

The man was subsequently taken to Walton Hospital, but sadly, has since passed away.

Following his death officers are now appealing for the occupants of the van to come forward.

They have not done anything wrong, but officers just need to speak to them as part of the investigation.

Anyone with any information about the identity of the good samaritans, or anyone with any information in relation to the incident, is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 968639.
