Liverpool City Council is supporting the national Step up to Social Work initiative that gives graduates of other subjects the chance to re-train for this rewarding career.
This intensive 14-month full-time paid programme will see successful candidates working with the council to gain hands-on experience whilst studying at university.
The programme:
• Offers a £19,833 tax-free bursary
• Involves 170 placement days with a council
• Leads to a postgraduate diploma in social work and the chance to register as a qualified social worker
Applications must be made by noon on 7 April.
