CCTV appeal following Burglary at Garston Woodcutters Social club

Officers investigating a burglary at a social club in Garston earlier this month have issued CCTV images of a man they believe could have information which would help with their enquiries.

At around 5.15am on Tuesday 7 June, we received a report of a burglary at Garston Woodcutters Social club on Chesterton Road.

It was reported that a till containing a small amount of cash and a large amount of alcohol was stolen from the premises.

Following CCTV enquiries, officers have issued images of a man that they wish to speak to in connection with their enquiries.

Inspector Paul Rannard said: “Business burglaries such as this are not a victimless crimes – they have a huge impact on the hardworking people who are just trying to earn a living in the heart of our communities.

“If you are the man pictured, or recognise him then please come forward.

“Similarly if you were in the Chesterton Road area in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday 7 June and saw anything or anyone suspicious then do let us know. All information you hold could be vital to our enquiries.

If you recognise the man pictured or have any information about this incident, please DM our social media desk on Twitter @MerPolCC or Facebook ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ quoting reference 22000391126.
