CCTV appeal released in connection with suspicious activity in Warrington

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with suspicious activity in Warrington.

At around 2.50am on Tuesday 14 July a man tried to open a number of doors on cars and houses in the Lymm area.

The man was able to open one of the cars parked on Churchwood View and stole a number of items inside.

Police would like to speak to the man in CCTV image and are asking anyone who recognises him or has information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch.

Detective Constable Norcross, from Warrington Local Policing Unit, said: “I am keen to speak to the man in the CCTV image who may be able to assist with my investigation. I would encourage him or anyone who knows his identity to get in touch.

“I also want to take this opportunity to remind people to be vigilant by ensuring their homes and cars are securely locked to help reduce the chances of becoming a victim of crime.”
