CONTACT CENTRE TO MOVE TO NEW BASE AT ST HELENS TOWN HALL

St Helens Borough’s Council’s customer contact centre will move to a new base in the Town Hall at the beginning of April as part of the ongoing development of services to local residents.

The centre will move from its existing site at Wesley House, with the new centre to be based in the former planning reception area of the building.

The new Customer Hub will be available to visit from April 3rd for pre-booked appointments and quick advice from 10am to 4pm each day.

Residents should continue to use the online customer service facility at www.sthelens.gov.uk as the first point of contact where all services can be easily accessed

Face to face appointments can also be booked via the website if needed. Residents can also contact the customer services team via phone on 01744 676789.

Councillor Seve Gomez-Aspron St Helens Borough Council Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Reset and Recovery said :

“The Council is reviewing its estate in a post Covid world, and we have committed to protecting and saving our most loved and historic buildings. This allows us to move services back into St Helens Town Hall and to keep the building in use.

“While the new customer contact centre will be available for residents to access for pre-booked appointments and quick advice, we would encourage residents to use the excellent online facilities available through our website as the first point of contact. It is easily the quickest way to get assistance and support with queries.”

The new contact centre at St Helens Town Hall will open from 10am to 4pm each day.
