If you or your child has received or are waiting to receive exam results this week, you may feel excited as well as anxious, confused, or upset.

Whilst receiving your A-level, BTEC or GCSE results can be an exciting and rewarding time, you or your child may also find Results Day to be upsetting, confusing, or stressful. Results day is just the start of your journey. There are many exciting options available to you if your plans change based on the results you get.  If you’re feeling lost during these times, we suggest firstly making contact with your child’s own college/school who will be able to provide advice on next steps for your child regardless of results on the day.

For those young people who find themselves without of education, training or employment and needing advice; the 14-19 Young People’s Case Workers at Halton Borough Council are available to discuss options and provide links into services such as careers guidance. When your son or daughter leaves school, and up to the age of 19, if they require help or support to get back into education or training: Email: 14-19Team@halton.gov.uk Ring: 0151 511 8834 or Find us at www.halton.gov.uk/yourfuture | HPS Your Future | Facebook
