Four people charged in connection with burglaries across Cheshire and Greater Manchester

Cheshire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit have charged four people in connection with a number of burglaries across Cheshire and Greater Manchester.

The charges are as follows:

  • Phillip Berry, 29, of College Fields, Wrexham was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
  • Thomas Berry, 29, of College Fields, Wrexham, was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
  • Adam Purcell, 33, of Chester Road, Frodsham was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
  • A 16-year-old boy from Frodsham was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and resisting arrest.

They all were remanded into custody and appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 16 December.

Phillip Berry, Thomas Berry and Adam Purcell have been further remanded in custody while the 16-year-old boy was bailed to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 13 January 2023.

The charges follow an investigation led by the Serious and Organised Crime Unit following burglaries in the Cheshire and across the North West between 14 October 2022 and 15 December 2022.
