HOW TO AVOID THE CORONAVIRUS SCAMMERS

Halton Borough Trading Standards officers are reminding residents how to get help during the Coronavirus lockdown and how to avoid scams, with a ‘one-stop shop’ guide.

They have set up a page with information on:
• How to get help
•How to avoid being scammed
•Covid-19 scams that we are already aware of
•Advice on looking after your mental well-being
•National and local advice and support organisations.
