INSPIRE YOUNG PEOPLE WITH CAREER IN CHILDCARE

Saints fans urged to get tested before and after match day

Find out more about how you could have a career in childcare at a drop in session in St Helens town centre.

St Helens Borough Council’s Early Years Quality and Inclusion Team is hosting a childcare recruitment fair on Saturday 9 July with job opportunities, a chance to meet childcare providers and learn more about training opportunities to kick start your career in childcare.

For those already working in childcare it is also an opportunity to network and learn more about new learning opportunities too.

Councillor Nova Charlton, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “Working in childcare is an incredibly rewarding career, where you get to help shape young minds and inspire future generations. There are a range of opportunities including training to help you progress further in the industry. Working in childcare has a range of flexible options for those who have other commitments. Come along and find out more about how you could help to shape young people’s lives, build aspirations and make a difference at this drop in session.”

The session will take place at the Ways to Work Centre, in Church Square Shopping Centre from 11am to 2pm on the day.

To find out more about the event, or any opportunities in working in childcare contact the team at eyhub@sthelens.gov.uk or call 01744 673379.
