Libraries Week is an annual showcase and celebration of the best that libraries have to offer..and we are celebrating ours and the staff who make them so special – so keep an eye on @haltonlibraries on social media for some treats.

Halton Borough Council is doing a ‘Tour of Halton Libraries’ focussing on one of our libraries each day on Monday/Tuesday/ Wednesday and Thursday. and events all ages can join in with.

Libaries’ staff found some great old pictures of the Libraries. These are getting uploaded throughout the week – it’s great to see how our libraries have developed and changed over the years!

On Monday we promoted our Borrowbox and Press Reader Apps – We have 1000s of ebooks, eaudio and online newspapers and magazines to choose from, so there’s something for everyone.

We showed some of the new and bestselling titles that are on Borrowbox and the newspaper titles and magazines available on Pressreader.
