Kirkby man charged following cannabis importation

Reminder to people to abide by current lockdown regulations after nine people fined at Knowsley party

Detectives have charged a man with drugs offences after a warrant at a house yesterday (Tuesday 26 January).

Ronald Moon, 53 years, of Severn Road, Kirkby was arrested at around 2pm and later charged with importation of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

A number of items were seized during the search, including mobile phones, electronic devices and cannabis. The electricity meter was also found to be bridged.

Moon was remanded in custody to appear today (Wednesday 27 January) at Wirral Magistrates Court.
