After the success of last year, the team at Otterspool Adventure will once again be creating the ultimate winter wonderland this year, full of enchanting events, crafts & activities.
Managing Director Cheryl Cosgrove said “We were overwhelmed with the response to last year’s event and have lots of festive fun planned for our valued customers. It has been a hard year for so many, especially the children, so we are really looking forward to bringing a bit of a magic to them this year.”
Once again, the renowned theatre production company LHK Productions will be producing the ultimate Christmas panto, Jack and The Beanstalk especially for Otterspool Adventure. Producer Lee Kelly said’ we are delighted to be back at Otterspool Adventure this year, guests can expect lots of family fun, dancing and laughter from our extravagant pantomine.
This year’s pantomime will be the fun family favourite; Jack and the Beanstalk, with a special guest appearance from Liverpool’s much-loved radio presenter Claire Simmo playing the ‘Veggie Fairy’. Claire has an extensive career as a presenter on both radio & TV, more recently on Radio City & BBC Radio Merseyside, and she has her own daily show on Sandgrounder Radio. Claire is no stranger to the stage, having worked on live events & pantomimes throughout the North West.
“I am delighted to be returning to Otterspool Adventure to play the ‘Veggie Fairy’ in Jack and the Beanstalk this Christmas with LHK Productions. Otterspool Adventure put on a fantastic event last year and I am excited to be part of it this year. I can’t wait to grab my fairy wand and work with this talented cast to add some much-needed sparkle to everyone’s Christmas!” commented Claire Simmo.
In addition to the pantomime, tickets for the 2021 Christmas Experience include a visit to Santa’s grotto and toy workshop (to pick a gift of their choice), Storytime with Mrs Claus whilst decorating gingerbread, a Make-a-Bear workshop, an ice-skating rink and full use of the adventure playground. This really will be a Christmas event not to be missed!
