Liverpool City Council launches Christmas Card competition

Liverpool schoolchildren are being invited to get creative and help spread festive cheer throughout the city.

Budding young artists aged between 4 and 18 years old are invited to take part in Liverpool City Council’s first ever Christmas card competition.

The winning entries will be selected as the official greetings for the Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson, Chief Executive Tony Reeves, and the city’s corporate Christmas card.

The competition runs until Sunday 6 December, with the winners picked shortly after.

Three winners will be picked in total, one in each of the following categories:

• 4 – 7 years old
• 8 – 11 years old
• 12 – 18 years old

All entries need to be A4-sized and submitted by parents/carers or teachers by scanning or photographing then uploading designs onto the council’s website: www.liverpool.gov.uk/cardcompetition where you can also find the full terms and conditions of the competition.

The city’s schoolchildren can enter their festive artwork into a Christmas card competition
