Man charged following coffee and charity shop burglaries in Widnes

Spate of reports of young people riding motorised bikes in Ellesmere Port

A 29-year-old man from Widnes has been charged following coffee and charity shop burglaries in the town.

Josh Dutton, of Albert Road, Widnes, was arrested at his home shortly after 2.30am on Monday 11 May.

He has since been charged with two counts of burglary.

The charges relate to incidents at coffee and charity shops on Albert Road.

The incidents occurred at around 2am on Monday 11 May.

Dutton has been released on conditional bail and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 9 June.
