Man charged with aggravated burglary in Warrington

Two people charged in connection with Cheshire burglary series

A 29-year-old man has been charged following an aggravated burglary in Warrington.

Lee Jevons, of Kirkstall Road, Davyhulme, Trafford, Greater Manchester, is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Monday 6 July.

He has been charged with aggravated burglary, possession of a bladed article in a public place and using violence to secure entry to a domestic property.

The charges relate to an incident in Pipit Lane, Birchwood, Warrington.

A man from Warrington sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident, which occurred at around 3pm on Friday 3 July.

The man in his 40s received hospital treatment for his injuries and has since been discharged.
