Man charged with dangerous driving and failing to stop for police

Appeal after boy has his bicycle stolen in Widnes robbery

A 19-year-old man has been charged with driving offences in Cheshire.

Nathan Batha, of Watkiss Drive, Rugeley, Staffordshire, was arrested on the M6 at around 4.30am on Sunday 13 December.

He has since been issued with a postal requisition ordering him to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 12 May to answer to charges of dangerous driving, failing to stop for the police and driving without insurance.

The charges relate to a black Audi travelling at excess speed in the early hours of Sunday 13 December, on the M6 between junctions 17 and 21 and on Manchester Road in Warrington.
