Man charged with drug offences

A 41- year-old Liverpool man has been charged as part of a Class A and B drugs conspiracy.

Yesterday (16 September) officers from Merseyside Police arrested Peter Bradshaw, of Pensarn Road, Liverpool on St Oswalds Street in Liverpool on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.

He was charged with:

  • conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs (cocaine, heroin, ecstasy. Class B: cannabis and amphetamine)
  • conspiracy to import class A drugs
  • acquisition, use and possession of criminal property

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court this afternoon (17 September).

The charge forms part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: a national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
