Man charged with four offences following incident in Warrington

Appeal after boy has his bicycle stolen in Widnes robbery

A 34-year-old man from Warrington has been charged with four offences following an incident in the town.

Saban Sahin, of Leicester Street, was arrested in the Winwick Road area of Warrington at around 6.15pm on Tuesday 20 October.

He has subsequently been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence, two counts of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

The charges all relate to an incident that occurred in the Winwick Road area of Warrington on Tuesday 20 October.

Sahin appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 22 October.

He was released on conditional bail and is set to return to the court on Wednesday 25 November.
