Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for information after a fatal road traffic collision in Bolton this morning (27 May 2022).
We were called to the northbound M61 to reports an Audi A5 had been involved in a collision at about 5:25am.
Emergency services attended and treated a man in his 30s at the scene but, sadly, he was later pronounced dead in hospital.
