New image released of man we want to speak to after series of Rochdale bank card thefts

An elderly man’s bank card was stolen on Wednesday 7 September 2022 at the 3 ATM machines at Morrisons, Kingsway, Rochdale after he was distracted by the offender.

We have released a new CCTV image of a man we wish to speak to after a series of bank card thefts targeting elderly people in Rochdale.

We have also released CCTV images of a total of three people who we believe may have witnessed at least one of the offences.

An elderly man’s bank card was stolen on Wednesday 7 September 2022 at the 3 ATM machines at Morrisons, Kingsway, Rochdale after he was distracted by the offender. The card was then used to withdraw £250 at an ATM at the Shell Eagle Service Station, Queensway, Rochdale, with the offender arriving and leaving in a silver Ford Focus, registration EX59 ATK.

At least two more victims were targeted after also being distracted.
