Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the M60 in which a woman has since died

Police are appealing for information after a pregnant woman’s car was stolen in Chorlton, Manchester.

Police were called at around 7.42pm on Tuesday 12 October 2021, to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the M60 between junctions four and five.

Initial stages of the investigation have established that a black Mercedes A160 collided with a blue Vauxhall Corsa which had broken down in the first lane of the motorway.

Two days after the collision the passenger of the Corsa attended at the hospital where she sadly died.

No arrests have been made.

PS Andrew Page, of GMPs Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This was a tragic incident in which a woman has sadly lost her life and our thoughts are very much with her loved ones at this awful time.
