Officers concerned for the welfare of wanted man from Bolton have released another image

Police appealing to the public for information following the disappearance of wanted Stephen Glaister have released another image, as concern for his welfare increases.

Stephen Glaister (16/11/1963) is wanted for breaching a court order after being released from prison in July 2020.

He was last seen on Wednesday 29 July and officers and Stephen’s family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

He is known to have links to Bolton but is believed to have recently travelled to London.

His family and police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that can lead to them finding Stephen safe and well.

Stephen is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build.

He is possibly wearing a short sleeved chequered shirt with blue jeans and a dark blue peaked baseball cap with a white peak. He might be carrying a black Adidas rucksack.

Detective Constable Cheyenne Tebbett, of GMP’s Bolton CID, said: “While we believe Stephen to have breached a court order since his release from jail, our first and foremost priority is ensuring that he is found safe and well.

“Stephen’s family are desperately concerned about his welfare having not seen him for nearly two weeks, and we join them in pleading to the public for any details about his whereabouts.

“Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be so important to finding Stephen and returning him home to his family and we encourage anyone who may be able to help to make contact.”

Anybody with information regarding the whereabouts of Stephen is asked to contact police on 0161 856 5620 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
