Officers seize cash and drugs in an early morning raid in Bury

A man who remains in a critical condition after being found injured at a bus stop in Manchester was assaulted

A team of GMP officers under Operation Revoke – the Bury’s district response to area-driven problem solving for the community – executed warrants at addresses on Limefield Brow and Robert Street early this morning (Friday 2 June 2023).

Seizures included:

  • Cocaine worth approximately £10,000
  • Cannabis worth approximately £18,000
  • Around £10,000 in cash

Miguel Satchell (12/08/1990) of Moss Row, Bury has been charged with possess with intent to supply class A drugs (cocaine) and money laundering and Paul Burke (16/04/1992) of Limefield Brow, Bury has been charged with possess with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis).

Both appeared at court today and have been remanded in custody.

Sergeant James Donnelly of the Op Revoke Team in Bury, said: “By working closely with our partners, we were able to act quickly on intelligence we received from members of the community and take these two off the streets.

“Op Revoke is a new unit in Bury, which acts proactively on community concerns by carrying out disruption activities, such as interrupting drug supply, as we have done in this case.
