OP TARGET: Teen charged after being found with weapons

Yesterday (7th October), #OpTarget officers arrested a 16 year old boy after he was stop searched and found in possession of a number of weapons.

The teen was stopped on Park Road East, Birkenhead. When searched, inside the holdall he was carrying, officers found 5 weapons including a machete, a hunting knife and a lock knife.

He was taken to custody where he was later charged with possession of a blade in a public space. He will appear at Liverpool Crown Court 27th October.
