OP VENETIC: Man arrested and cash seized following warrant in St Helens

OP TARGET: Proactive operation takes to social media in attempt to tackle serious violence

We have arrested a man and seized a large quantity of cash following a warrant carried out in St Helens this morning, Wednesday 3 February.

Following information received, officers attended a house on South Street and detained a man. A search of the location is ongoing. Around £13,000 cash (below) has been found and will be seized pending further enquiries.

A 33-year-old man from St Helens has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs. He was taken to a police station for questioning.

This arrest is part of national Operation Venetic.
