Op Venetic: Wirral man charged with drug offences

Project EDWARD -Every Day Without A Road Death

A Wirral man is the latest to be charged with drug offences as part of Operation Venetic.

Ryan Pugh, aged 33, of Hulme Close, Bromborough has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs (cocaine and cannabis), following his arrest yesterday (Thursday 27 January).

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning, Friday 28 January.

The charge forms another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: the national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
