Police appeal for help in finding missing Widnes man

Police are appealing to the public for help in finding a 36-year-old Widnes man who has not been seen for a number of days.

Police have been making numerous enquiries to trace Stephen Evans and are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare as he hasn’t been seen since 5.36am on 12 October.

Stephen is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of medium to large build with a beard. He was last seen wearing black jeans, black trainers, a black zip-up hooded top and black gilet. He was carrying a black backpack.

DS Marc Roberts said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Stephen and would urge anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts to contact Cheshire Police. I’d also urge Stephen to please get in touch. Your family are worried about you.”

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire police on 101 or via www.cheshire.police.uk quoting IML 827002.
