Appeal after boy has his bicycle stolen in Widnes robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision with a cyclist in Widnes.

An 18-year-old boy was riding along Milton Road toward Riverside College sometime between 3.30pm and 4pm when a grey Ford Kuga collided with him.

The driver failed to stop and turned left into Cameron Road.

The teenager was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

DC Tina Jackson said: “We would urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has information that will help us identify the driver to contact us. If you were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage you can submit it on our website. Please make sure you reference IML 806505.”
