Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured following a collision on the M60

Police are appealing for information after a pregnant woman’s car was stolen in Chorlton, Manchester.

At around 11.20am on Thursday 17 September 2020, police were called to reports of a collision on the M60 near junction 24 for Denton.

Officers attended and established that a Honda motorcycle had collided with a stationary Skoda Fabia.

The motorcyclist – a man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

An investigation is underway.

Sergeant Marie Eldred, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This was a serious collision which has left a man in hospital with multiple injuries. Our thoughts are with him as he receives treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision and we are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a blue HGV as we believe they may have information or dash cam footage which may assist us.

“I would also like to use this opportunity to appeal to anyone else with information or dash cam footage to contact us.”
