Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Stockport

At around 7.45am on Friday 1 May 2020, police received a report of an earlier burglary at a property on Guywood Road, Romiley.

Officers attended and established that, at around 1.35am, the offender(s) forced open the garage and stole five high value bespoke bicycles, including a green Pinaccle Akrose 3, a white Santa Cruz Bullit, an orange Cotic Soul, a white Giant Anthem and a red Specialized S-Works Tarmac.

No arrests have been made.

An investigation is underway.

Detective Sergeant Matthew Tarr, of GMP’s Stockport district, said: “Enquiries are ongoing to trace these bicycles and the person(s) responsible for stealing them.

“We are releasing photographs of the bicycles in the hope that anyone with information about their whereabouts will contact us as soon as possible.

“I would also like to appeal to anyone with any other information to come forward as it may assist us with our investigation.”
