Project Medusa: Bootle man charged following warrant and arrest of four men

A man has been charged with supply of crack cocaine and heroin following a County Lines warrant in Litherland on Thursday 29 September.

The warrant was carried out an address in Ford Lane. 21-year-old Craig Kenny of Norton Street, Bootle was arrested and has now been charged with concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

He appeared at court yesterday (Friday 30 September) and was remanded in custody to appear on trial at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 28 October.

Three other men, aged 30-32, were arrested and released under investigation.

Cash and drugs were seized from the property.

Detective Inspector Gary Stratton said: “This work forms part of Project Medusa, our ongoing work to tackle suspected County Lines drug supply and the criminal exploitation of vulnerable people. We will continue to respond to all information given on suspected drug supply, in Merseyside and further afield.”
