Motorists are warned that United Utilties works in Rainhill will lead to the closure of Rainhill Road.
The water company will work on a collapsed sewer on Rainhill Road which means the road will be closed from Monday 17 to 26 August. The closure will be in place between Roby Close and St Ann Place, near to the Coach and Horses Pub. The diversion for motorists will be clearly signposted during the works.
Merseytravel buses will travel left into Longton Lane from Warrington Road and then right into Vincent Road and then will continue on usual route along Rainhill Road.
