Road victims remembered in online service in Liveropool

Memorial to road crash victims, in St John’s Gardens

People killed on the road have been remembered in a special virtual service in Liverpool.

Organised by RoadPeace North West, it took place on the 23rd anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.

Families bereaved by road crashes shared tributes and remembered loved ones.

Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Anna Rothery, was among those paying tribute, speaking at a memorial to road crash victims in St John’s Gardens.

The service usually takes place in the Lady Chapel of Liverpool Cathedral, but due to the pandemic, took place online.
