St Helens man charged with possession of knife blade and theft

Suspected banned dog seized following attack near Thatto Heath park

We have charged a St Helens man with possession of a knife blade and theft from a shop.

Officers were called to Morrisons supermarket on Baxters Lane in St Helens at around 8.45pm on Monday 20th June.

Luis Campos Fonseca, 24, of New Street, was detained nearby and arrested.

He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens adult remand court yesterday, Wednesday 22nd June.
