Stockport man charged with 43 offences including trafficking, slavery and rape

Two people have been charged in connection with a stabbing in Worsley

A Stockport man has been remanded into custody after being charged with a number of offences including trafficking, slavery and rape.

Nicholas Stuart Moxham (5/3/72) of Briarfield Road, Heaton Chapel, has been charged with 43 offences.

They are:

  • Sexual assault by penetration x2
  • Strangulation with the intent to commit and indictable offence x3
  • Rape x9
  • Voyeurism – installing equipment x7
  • Voyeurism – recording a private act x7
  • Trafficking for the purpose of sexploitation x4
  • Controlling prostitution for gain x6
  • Requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour x4
  • Sexual assault

He appeared at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 12 October 2021 when he was remanded into custody to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on 16 November.

This charges are in relation to a warrant carried out in Heaton Chapel on Monday 11 October and relate to incidents that occurred in Stockport between March 2020 to October 2021.
