Tameside man appears in court after series of warrants in Greater Manchester

A man from Tameside has been remanded into custody after appearing in court charged with drugs offences.

Joseph McCormick (9/6/1981), Stamford Road Central, Ashton-under-Lyne, has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, failure to comply with a serious crime prevention order and possession of criminal property, and appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on 12 May 2022.

He will next appear at Manchester Crown Court on 26 May 2022.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between March 2020 and May 2022.

GMP’s South Manchester Challenger Team carried out a series of warrants in Openshaw, Ashton-under-Lyne and Altrincham on 11 May 2022.
