Teenager charged in connection with death of Connor Dockerty

Further restrictions to be introduced to curb spread of COVID-19 in Merseyside

Detectives investigating the murder of 23-year-old Connor Dockerty in Huyton have this evening, Thursday 13th May, charged a 15 year-old teenager with manslaughter.

At around 8pm on Monday 19 April, emergency services were called to Kingsway after reports Connor had received stab wounds to his chest. He was taken to hospital where he sadly died.

A 15-year-old male has tonight been charged with manslaughter.  He has been remanded in custody to appear in court tomorrow. Friday 14th May.

A 15 year-old female has now been released without charge.

A 14-year-old male was previously charged with murder and remanded into custody.

We are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to contact us, in particular anyone with CCTV, dashcam or video/mobile footage from the Kingsway or Liverpool Road area from around 8pm on 19th April.
