Ten charged as part of Class A and Class B drugs conspiracy investigation operation between Merseyside and North Wales

Two men arrested and charged following burglary at Liverpool City Centre hotel

We have charged 10 people with conspiracy to supply and produce Class A and B drugs and conspiracy to convert criminal property.

The charges follow a number of warrants which were executed yesterday, Thursday 11th February, as part of a joint operation between Merseyside and North Wales Serious and Organised Crime teams.

One of those charged – Paul Michael Mount, 37, of Summerwood Gardens, Halsall, was also charged with conspiracy to acquire/transfer a firearm.

The others charged are:

Anthony Paul Saunderson, 40, of Callan Crescent, Formby

Stephen Raymond Shearwood, 37, of Sankey Road, Maghull

Michael Joseph Pope, 34, of Whinney Grove West, Maghull

Lee Eccles, 31, of Mersey Avenue, Maghull

David Kelly, 42, of Downholland business park, Ormskirk

Connor Smith, 27, of Derby Grove, Maghull

James Dunn, 34, of Sandy Lane, Walton 

Darren Owens, 46, of Knowsley Lane, Huyton

Kieron Hartley, 30 of Moss Side, Knotty Ash

All were charged with conspiracy to supply and produce cocaine, heroin, amphetamine, cannabis and Ketamine and conspiracy to convert criminal property and remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool magistrates court today, Friday 12th February.

Two other people have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
