The family of a man who died following a collision in Bolton have paid tribute to him.

Shortly after 9.45am on Saturday 28 November 2020, police were called to reports of a collision between a large delivery wagon and a pedestrian on a backstreet off Bradford Street.

Emergency services attended but sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, the pedestrian – 65-year-old Clive Atkinson – was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the wagon remained at the scene to speak with officers and no arrests have been made.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Clive’s family said: “Our whole family is devastated by this awful incident .

“Clive Will be sadly missed by his wife – Lorraine, son – Daniel, daughters – Heidi and Keeley, daughter-in-law – Leesa and all his grandchildren.”
