Two arrested and suspected cocaine and cannabis seized following Liverpool warrant

We have arrested two men and seized suspected class A and B drugs following a warrant in Norris Green yesterday, Tuesday, 11 May.

At around 6pm, officers from Liverpool Targeted Team attended an address in Ridgmont Avenue and located a quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis during a search.

Two men, aged 37 and 40, both from Liverpool were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs. They both remain in custody for questioning and an investigation is ongoing.

Inspector Leigh Price said: “Proactive policing activity such as this is carried out day in, day out across Merseyside to disrupt criminal activity and prevent harmful drugs from reaching our communities.

“We cannot do this without the help of our communities and information from the public, which plays a vital part in bringing offenders to justice.

“We will continue targeting anyone we suspect is involved in the supply of drugs, and I would encourage anyone with information on such criminality to come forward so we can take action.”
