Two charged over armed robbery in Stockport

A woman has been charged in connection with the death of a man in Manchester

Two men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery in Stockport.

Joseph Nunn (10/02/1997) of Sandpiper Close has been charged with Robbery, and possession of an offensive weapon.

Daniel Cooke (17/06/1993) of Egerton Grove, Walkden has been charged with Robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

Both have ben remanded into custody, and will appear at Stockport Magistrate’s Court today (Saturday 15 January 2022).

On Friday 14 January 2022, police were called just after 7:30am to reports that three men with knives had entered a business premises on the Portwood Trading Estate in Werneth, Stockport, and were threatening staff.

Officers attended, and detained two men at the scene. A third man made off in a vehicle.
