Two men charged in connection with Chester burglaries

Spate of reports of young people riding motorised bikes in Ellesmere Port

Officers investigating a series of burglaries across in Chester have charged two men in connection with the incidents.

Stephen Collins, 44, and Kai Davis, 20, were both arrested on Sunday 26 July following a series of burglaries across Chester.

Collins, of Hatton Road, Chester has since been charged with five counts of burglary.

The charges relates to incidents on Sealand Road, Newton Lane, Dickson Drive and Gladstone Avenue which occurred between Friday 10 July and Friday 24 July.

He had been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court later today, Monday 27 July.

Davis, of Lynwood Road, Chester, has been charged with handling stolen goods and fraud offences.

The charges relate to items which were stolen during the Newton Lane burglary.

He has been released on bailed and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 27 July.
