UPDATE: Emergency services in St Helens following serious RTC

In West Derby a Man charged with Drugs Conspiracy following warrants yesterday

**UPDATE – 3PM THURSDAY 19TH NOVEMBER**

We can confirm that the female pedestrian has sadly passed away in hospital. Her next of kin have been made aware.

Enquiries remain ongoing into the collision but the road closure has been lifted.

We are appealing for anyone who was in Bickerstaffe Street this morning who witnessed the collision to ring 0151 777 5747 or DM @MerPolCC or @MerPolTraffic

We can confirm that emergency services are in St Helens following a serious RTC this morning, Thursday 19 November.

At around 10.55am, officers and the ambulance service were called to Victoria Square to reports of a collision between a bus and a female pedestrian in her 60s. She is described as in a serious condition.

A road closure is in place at the junction of Claughton Street and Cotham Street as our investigation continues. Please avoid the area.
